Marissa is a Class A LPGA Teaching Professional who was recently named to the 2024-2025 LPGA Top 50 Best Teachers List. She also was the 2022 National Professional of the Year by the LPGA and the National Teacher of the Year in 2021.

 

This 2025 season, Marissa will be the new Director of Instruction at Twin Hills Country Club in Longmeadow, Massachusetts.  Marissa comes from Lyman Orchards located in Middlefield, Connecticut where she was the Director of Instruction for 11 seasons. Marissa and Lyman Orchards built the most successful women’s golf program in the northeast and one of the biggest and best in the United States with well over 1,400 women attending the program in 2022 & 2023 and 300 women playing in the golf league. Since Marissa started the program at Lyman Orchards in 2013, over 5,000 female participants have gone through her Golf Fore Women program.

 

A veteran of the golf industry, she has done everything in the golf business from greens keeper, to Head Professional to General Manager. Her knowledge and understanding of the industry will elevate Twin Hills Country Club moving forward.

As the Director of Instruction, Marissa will lead the golf staff in lessons and clinics as well as to work with the club in providing her expertise in both in and outside tournament construction and play. Her passion and knowledge about teaching the game of golf is an incredible asset for Twin Hills Country Club to have on staff.
